If you don't know what this is:
This is a copy of the thepiratebay.org index.
The index has 873671 torrents, ranging from id 3211594 to 5051940 (2009-08-13).
I only got 873671 torrents, but according to the website the tracker tracks over 2 million torrents.
The discrepancy is most likely due to many torrent files including the TPB tracker but has not been uploaded to the web site.

How to host your own tpb

If you decided to download a copy of thepiratebay here's how to set up:

This tutorial include both, windows and linux explanations.

Basicly you need just "tpb.db", other required files are here.

-I assume that most people have apache as web server.
(if you don't have download from here)
-Create a folder "tpb" in htdocs or www folder
-add content to tpb folder (http://hotfile.com/dl/10796356/b32b7cc/btarena.net.rar.html or  http://ul.to/fil8p8 or http://rapidshare.com/files/271047148/btarena.net.rar
-with a text editor edit config.php

$dbfile = "path to your tpb.db file";
$siteurl = "http://wwwX.btarena.net/"; (edit X with a number i will give to you)

-Open with notepad or any text editor apacheconfhttpd.conf (for windows users), /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (for linux users)
be sure you have this line like this (without #)
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

add following lines to bottom:
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName wwwX.btarena.net
DocumentRoot "path to your files" ex. c:apachehtdocstpb or /var/www/html/tpb
</VirtualHost>

send me a PM with your
server ip
restart apache

Now everyone can access your copy via www.btarena.net

It looks good. You got it working. Can you explain how you did it using http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5053827 info? I use SQLite Database Browser but it is cumbersume.

Isn't it somewhat stupid to use the piratebay tracker to track it?
What would prevent GGF from banning this torrent/infohash, once they take over the tracker?

Might as well use tracker.openbittorrent.com or any other tracker that is more likely not to ban it.
